There’s is currently a 3 core 6mm swa installed/40amp breaker, the garden room has its own consumer unit with a 32amp ring circuit and 6amp lighting.
The ring circuit has a 1kw heater and a computer/ printer so not a lot of load and the lights are led -total 60w.
They now want a 32amp hot tub supply.
do I need to install a new 3 core 10mm? Or would 3 core 6mm just be ok?
thanks

No mention of an RCD anywhere or what type of supply its on, TNS, TNCS, TT, length of cable run, a lot of details missing......

Any cable calcs ?

If you assumed 40A as there is no diversity allowed for the hot tub, and you have little control over what else gets plugged into a 32A ring along with 4.4ish for the heater, then over 30m 6mm swa is OK but not great, 10mm is preferable for an energy conscious solution
