Might be the wrong forum but here goes. I`ve 2 Parkside drill/drivers 10.8v not had a lot of use but come in handy because they are quite small and do the job. Problem is I`ve lost one of the chargers and the remaining one has given up. I`ve inserted a pic of the circuit board, no sign of any overheating or visible damage any chance someone might have an idea of which component has died or where to start testing, a longshot I know...……..

I'm sure some people like to learn.
But anyway if the fuse has blown, that is a sign something else is seriously wrong rather than being the fault itself.
Could be an "iffy" fuse I learnt that at Uxbridge Tech back in 1982 or a temporary or intermittent "glitch" that took the "iffy" fuse out in the plug top.

T= Traege = slow blow
2A = obvious
L = Low breaking capacity i.e. does not need to be sand filled.

Obviously you can fit a ceramic bodied / sand filled T1AH instead.

Is that what you call a "butt plug" :D………. anyway just one final post about this charger, I`ve taken a couple of close up pics both sides of the board showing the note and the reverse side ……

Guess I`ll have to start trying to eliminate the suspects myself, my friend ain`t available to do it. Beginning to wish I`d binned it but it`s got to me now...……………..
DPG- in answer to your ? no your suggestion was the first, thanks.
FREDDO- I`ll try that next, thanks.
And thanks to all the other posters, can`t give up now.

So you've measured the DC voltage across the reservoir cap and tried changing the small electrolytic next to the heat sink?
