I'm replacing my consumer unit (well, adding a second one, rewiring the house one circuit at a time, then removing the original one when it's all done) and looking at the FuseBox F2014MX 14 way main switch board with SPD. I intend to populate this with AFDD RCBOs.
The electrician supervising/testing my work recommended FuseBox to me but I've seen some comments online about how they're a cheap brand and not as good as others.

Has anyone got experience with these boards?

Yes, I've installed lots (have 4 more over the next week).

As a reasonable cost board, I find them well designed and easy to install. Yes there are better boards available when cost is not so important (I sometimes use Hager).

Perhaps one lingering concern is if the company and spare parts will still be around in 10 or 20 years.

Out of interest, which circuits are you putting AFDDs on? And what price are you getting them for?

All circuits (although it's worth noting that all circuits will be radials). They're about £100 each but given I'm just doing one circuit at a time in my spare time it'll probably end up being £100 every 3 months and not too much strain on the wallet.
