Hi. I've not long moved into a new home and having one or two gremlins and having some work done by an electrician.... so although I'm a home owner and not an electrician, the questions I might ask are to improve my own understanding of what he's doing and also to ask advice where he might be a bit perplexed (a question is definitely coming about one particular issue)

Being DIY tagged, we may assume you are doing the work yourself unless you specifically say on the thread there's an electrician involved.
We normally gauge our answers when its a DIYer to what we believe they are capable of achieving.... but if we know there's a professional we can "talk shop" a bit more.
