Discuss How to wire Hager CDA263U RCD? in the DIY Electrical Advice area at ElectriciansForums.net
This has cropped up before on this forum, and the claim was made that Hager state they can be fed top or bottom.Can I connect the supply line and neutral to the terminals 2&4 and the load side line and neutral out of terminals 1&2
The schematic clearly shows the feed to 1 and 3 and whilst I agree inverting this may not make a difference the schematic should be adhered to.
The Previous RCD is wired this way , its being changed because it’s trip value is 0.3AI do agree the obvious way to connect it is as printed on the device, but it does appear acceptable to do it the other way if there was a good reason?
