I'm a small business owner who maintains canal boats at a boatyard with a 3-phase supply. I have about ten years of experience working with 12 volts and single-phase electrics, effectively undertaking an informal apprenticeship with a time-served electrician.
I am looking to gain qualifications to enable me to work on domestic as well as commercial sites (my own included). I am currently undertaking a course where I will gain the following:
I'm also looking to gain qualifications not only to work legally on my current premises but also as a fall-back in case it's a carrier path I want to take later on it life.

- Logic Certification Domestic Electrical Installer – Part P (Full Scope)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, BS 7671:2018 (City & Guilds 2382-18 – QCF Level 3)
- Initial Verification, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (Logic Certification QCF Level 3)
I'm also looking to gain qualifications not only to work legally on my current premises but also as a fall-back in case it's a carrier path I want to take later on it life.
