So the alarm cables stay intact and out of the way of the fire personnel, but all the power & light T&E still will try to garotte and electrocute them. Shouldn't everything be P-clipped then?
 
Cables in trunking above door ways should really be p clipped yes but we have recently done a job and got round it by putting loops of galv all round band inside the trunking and take all the cables through it. A lot faster and saves p clipping individually which is a pain in the :-------:
 
heres one of mine
had to move 10m from ceiling height in one room and ancient collection of boards to top of cellar stairs at accessible height with 6m submain, i think it looks smart

Neater than I could do, but.......... I would be a little disappointed with such a neat install if I had to test the ring finals.......as conductors not identified as to which leg of the ring they are, so I would have to pull the conductors out to revel some sheathing (couldnt be arsed to test it twice) and ruin the overall look..sorry....I also hate cable ties in this instance......
