I have by mistake used 6amps C grad MCB on a 2000-watt dishwasher. though I was asked to put 10 amps. but it is running properly.
how it is possible and is it safe?

If the 2000 watt rating is what it says on the info sticker on the back of the dishwasher then it's the absolute maximum power the machine will ever run at and most of the time the actuial power consumption will be considerably less. Also a 6 A MCB will happily allow 7 or 8 Amps through it without tripping for a good period of time.

All that aside, the MCB is sized to protect the circuit wiring, not the appliance itself. Whether it's safe or not is down to the current rating of the MCB being appropriate for size of the wiring going to the socket outlets.
